Krista was always drawn to the power of storytelling; repeatedly watching and absorbing the language of cinema. After settling in New York, she took advantage of every opportunity to learn all facets of the film production machine: shooting, editing, broadcasting, and even driving a production truck all over Manhattan. Krista’s tireless work ethic is demonstrated in her quick rise from freelance production assistant to producer on commercials, music videos, live events - and everything in between. She joined the network side at A+E Networks where she spent over a decade. She transitioned from production to creative, moving to The History Channel as Senior Creative Director and eventually taking the role of SVP Brand Creative, overseeing all aspects the brand. She is rightfully proud to have led some of the most succesful campaigns in television history. Over her tenure, she expanded into producing long-form content and specials for History, garnering an NAACP Image Award for Best Documentary as well as multiple Primetime and Daytime Emmy nominations, Promax and Clio awards. Krista began directing in 2008, taking years of experience guiding a creative marketing team and translating that into leading creative film teams. She has directed music videos and projects for iconic artists such as Justin Bieber, Tyga, Kris Kristofferson and many more. The result of her collective experience in both production and creative is her ability to wear multiple hats; she is equally adept at managing a team and handling logistics as she is dreaming up concepts, writing scripts and directing actors.
