Rob Lowry
Music Supervisor for Film, TV, and Advertising
Biography
Ever since the 8th grade, when Rob skipped school to catch an opening day screening of Almost Famous, he knew that he wanted to be a music supervisor. Since then, Rob has music supervised an array of projects, from celebrated TV shows (Ramy, The Bold Type), critical darlings (Her Smell, Villains), indie darlings (Band of Robbers, About Alex), acclaimed documentaries (Amanda Knox, Chicken People) and cult classics in the making (Another Evil, Uncle Kent 2). He has also worked on countless shorts, web series, and commercials. Along with experimenting with the perfect mixtape & tirelessly surveying the local music scene, Lowry spends his time as an avid coffee drinker, amateur surfer & unabashed defender of pop. He is also an unfortunate & disarmingly loyal member of the Miami Dolphins' fan base. In 2017, Rob was nominated nominated for a Guild of Music Supervisors Award for his music supervision work on The Intervention.
