London based director who works emotional connection with smart visual flair
Emma Miranda Moore is a London based director and writer. Emma’s commercial work includes spots for Speech & Language UK, Dove, Ecover and Barclays among others. She translates her instinctive narrative sensibility into her commercials, combining smart visuals with emotional connection.

She wrote and directed ‘100%’, a short romantic comedy sponsored by The Ritz-Carlton as part of their ‘The Stay’ series produced by Hearst. Her mentor during production was Mike Figgis. Shot in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, '100%' won Best International Director at Houston Comedy Film Festival and Best Rom Com at Hollywood Comedy Short Film Festival.

Her short film ‘RUN’ stars EastEnder’s Maddy Hill was produced by Dominic Minghella’s Island Pictures. It was nominated for Best International Short at Flickerfest (Australia) and Schlingel Filmfestival (Germany). It has played numerous festivals worldwide after premiering at LSFF.

She wrote and directed YA monologue 'JACKSON' which has screened at Underwire (nominated Best Actor), Hollyshorts, IndieCork and more and was nominated for Best Short Film at BUFF Malmö, Sweden.

Previously Emma wrote and directed coming of age micro short ‘LIT’, which won the Raindance Film Festival One Minute Heartache competition and was awarded Main Prize in Depict at Encounters Film Festival by a jury including Sorcha Bacon and Rachel Morrison ASC.

Emma studied Fine Art and before turning to directing had a successful career in fashion photography, shooting internationally for publications including The Face and The Sunday Times Magazine and brands including Boots and Marks & Spencer.
She is represented internationally for commercials by Lou Mumford at Fresh Film and in Scotland by Lucy Ball at Greenroom. For TV/film she is represented by Francesca Devas at Independent Talent Group.
