Elaine Del Valle is a bilingual Latina originally from New York City. In 2019 Miami New Times named Elaine in their Five Filmmakers to Watch list. A Sundance Directing Lab alumn, Elaine’s films have garnered many awards on the festival circuit; including multiple for Vanguard, Best Director and Best Short Film.
Elaine’s film Me 3.769 (a triggering coming-of-age short, which she wrote, directed and produced) premiered on HBO in August 2019.

Also an award-winning writer, Elaine first garnered critical acclaim with her autobiographical, Off Broadway, stage play, Brownsville Bred—New York Times called it "From Girlhood Trials to Onstage Triumph”.
