24 Hours of Care
To honour 24 hours of care, we made a 24 hour long film.
Over 8 million Canadians dedicate their lives to full-time caring for a loved one. This unpaid work often happens in private, leaving many caregivers without the support they need both physically and mentally. To give an honest glimpse at what caregiving looks like, we made a 24 hour long documentary, filming 10 families and using their self-filmed journals.
These incredible families opened up their lives, allowing us to tell their stories with them.
Working with the brilliant creative team at McCann, bringing their ideas to life was a wonderful collaboration. The amazing crew, tirelessly flew around the country and the extraordinary post team worked nonstop.
I’m so proud to have met these families and been a part of this project.
