Larissa Zaidan, 29, was born in São Paulo, Brazil. She graduated in journalism and started her career in photojournalism at VICE Brasil in 2016. At VICE, she mainly documented youth culture and the LGBT universe, photographed and directed documentaries like the webserie about sex "Transe". Larissa has been a member of the Brazilian photography agency Angústia Photo since 2017. Her work has been published in publications like VICE, Financial Times, California Sunday Magazine, Folha de S.Paulo, Wired and PHmuseum. In 2019 she did her first work as director of photography in the a film about trans life expectancy in Brazil “35”. Since 2020 Larissa is a director represented by Delicatessen Filmes.
