Biography
Sara Lacombe is a Haitian-Dominican Los Angeles based director and producer most known for her music videos, collaborating with artists such as Cardi-B, YBN Nahmir, City Girls, Tyga and Lil Skies amongst others. Originally from North Carolina but raised in Philadelphia. She attended Temple University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Telecommunications and Mass Media with a focus in Television Production and Advertisement. Sara spent her last semester as part of a study abroad program in Los Angeles which resulted in her relocating permanently immediately after graduating in 2012 Her career started at David Naylor & Associates as an office assistant. Lancombe worked her way up in the industry and is now a video commissioner at Capitol Records, in addition to producing for several Production Companies including Creative Row, Happy Place, Cinema Giants, Luti Media, Terrero Digital, ERG Designs and Vilas Entertainment. Lacombe has collaborated with top directors such as DAPS, Jessy Terrero, Eif Rivera, Sasha Samsonova, Anthony Mandler, Colin Tilley and many others. Sara has also contributed to works with artists and brands such as Jay Z, Dj Khaled, Usher, Chris Brown, Justin Beiber, NAS, Taylor Swift, Disney, Mattel Samsung, Lexus, Cadillac and Nike. In October 2016, Sara's first produced documentary film for the artist Gerardo Ortiz titled "Como Un Sueño" was released in theaters across the United States as well as Mexico. Sara's true passion is narrative and short filmmaking. She one day hopes to make movies based on true stories from her life and people she knows.
