Marnie Hollande
Biography
Born and raised in London, Marnie came to editing through experimental dance film, while studying Fine Art and Art History at Goldsmiths College. Those intitially chaotic timelines spurred a lifelong passion for story-telling at the intersection of art and narrative film. She has since cut films for The Barbican, British Vogue, Nike, Nowness, Tate Brtiain and Tim Walker, working with production houses such as AMV Flare, Dazed, Pulse Films, Somesuch and Vice. She later returned to Goldsmiths to do a masters in Film Editing gaining a Distinction. Her subsequent short-films have won the Vimeo Staff Pick Award at SXSW ('Vert' 2019) and been nominated for the BFI XX Award for Best Female Representation ('You Should Know Better' 2017). Emotion, humility and humour is at the heart of her editing. She is proud of maintaining long-term partnerships with directors and plans to remain in the chair well into her 90s.
