Jessica Sanderson is a director from Aotearoa New Zealand.
Jessica Sanderson (Ngāti Kahungunu ki Heretaunga, Te Ātiawa, Pākehā) is an experienced television & film director from Aotearoa, NZ. She is also a trained designer, passionate about creating beautiful imagery. Her pull to tell stories comes from a desire to amplify inspiring voices – hoping it leads to positive change. In 2019 she released her first short film, “Ways to See”, which won Gold for her collaborator, DP Tammy Williams at the NZCS awards. More recently Jessica directed an 8-part documentary series called “Moko”, about the revival of traditional Māori tattooing.
