Biography
Gillian Zinser is a visual artist and filmmaker working across documentary, narrative, and experimental modes of human-interest storytelling. Her work aims to amplify underrepresented voices by crating compassionate, contemplative and lyrical portraits that shine a light on social injustices while inspiring moral courage and inviting empathy.
Zinser’s work has been published in Vogue, NOWNESS, Interview magazine, VIMEO Staff Picks, The Guardian, Dazed, Document Journal, and the LA Film Festival. She is currently in post-production on her debut documentary feature, SERENA and in pre-production on her second. She currently lives in Mexico City.
