Biography
Nisha Ganatra is Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated Director/Writer/Producer. Her films have been premiered, won awards and screened at the Berlin International Film Festival, SXSW, and Tribeca Film Festival among others. Her new feature, "Late Night," written by Mindy Kaling, made its' world premiere at Sundance 2019. The film received a standing ovation and rave reviews in Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and Indiewire. Late Night was acquired by Amazon for a record-breaking $13M. In 2018 she directed her first branded work: a 7-spot campaign for Google Home featuring comedy heavyweights Amy Poehler, Tiffany Haddish, Amy Sedaris, Chelsea Peretti and Maya Rudolph. She is in pre-production on an autobiographical series for NBC/U TV with Amy Poehler producing. She is the Co-EP and director of "You, Me, Her," as well as co-EP and director of the Pamela Adlon series "Better Things". Nisha has also directed episodes of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "Girls," "Red Oaks," "Fresh Off the Boat," "The Last Man on Earth," "Mr. Robot," "The Mindy Project,” “Love,” “Future Man,” "Dear White People," "Married," and “Shameless."
