Rylee Jean Ebsen is a Forbes 30 Under 30 (Class of 2020) DGA comedy director who has worked with numerous high-profile actors and comedians including Seth McFarland, Ben Schwartz, Tom Felton, Nicholas Braun, Dillon Francis, Brittany Snow, Alfonso Ribeiro, Sky Katz, Jay Williams, and Doris Burke. She has directed short films, sketches, documentaries, commercials and branded content for some of the world’s largest brands, including Disney, Facebook, ESPN, State Farm, Kelloggs, Zillow and Snapchat. Her work has generated 40+ million views on Youtube and trillions of views on mobile platforms. Previously, Rylee was an executive at at Snapchat for several years (starting when the company was less than a dozen people), directing content and guiding the creative evolution of Snap from a startup to multibillion-dollar public company. While at Snap, she directed hundreds of commercials and dozens of original shows. With her experience between marketing, communications strategy, & design - she's passionate about helping startups develop their identity through storytelling. As a proud supporter or women in film & tech, and a producer of new media, Rylee is eager to share her knowledge. She’s been asked to speak at companies, conferences, and schools all over the world including Disney HQ, Facebook HQ, Promax LA, NYU, USC, Brentwood High School and Crossroads High school. Born and raised in the golden sunshine of Los Angeles, she’s been directing and editing movies since she was 10 years old.
