Award-winning documentary filmmakers Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady of Loki Films have been lauded for shining a light on unknown worlds and taking an honest approach to delicate subject matter. Their Emmy Award winning documentary Detropia (2012) was an arresting exploration of the struggles of Detroit City. Their most recent documentary Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You (2016) recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2016 with theatrical nationwide release in June 2016. In their previous work, Ewing and Grady have taken on a vivid array of subjects that includes Academy Award nominated Jesus Camp, (2006) Peabody Award winner 12th & Delaware (2010) and Emmy Award nominated The Boys of Baraka (2005) which won also an NAACP Image Award. They were contributing directors in Freakonomics (2010), a feature-length documentary based on the bestselling economics book. In its television work, Loki's projects have been seen on a variety of networks including CBS, HBO, ESPN, A&E, and CNN.
