Biography
Rachel Fleit is a writer/director who lives in Brooklyn, NY.
Rachel was born in NYC on an icy January morning, which makes her a Capricorn and technically a native New Yorker, however she spent her formative years in the idyllic yet homogenous suburbs of Long Island, which are a recurring motif in her work. Rachel began her career developing live performances, in addition to creating site specific theatre in church parking lots in the Lower East Side and public art installations on the Jumbotron in Times Square. In 2009, Rachel began a 6-year career as the chief creative officer at HONOR, a women’s Designer RTW brand. Rachel created the storytelling surrounding 18 collections at HONOR from 2009-2015, drawing on all of her past experiences of storytelling in various mediums to do so. From 2015-2017 Rachel founded and was creative director of Killer Films Media, the branded content division of Killer Content (Killer Films). Rachel developed and directed branded content for UBS Bank, Cadillac, Veuve Clicquot, Peanut, BRIDES, Physique 57,Ohlin/D and Eileen Fisher.
