As an Art Photographer, she goes by the name of La Furie (“Fury” in French ) . A name she inherited from her ancestors history and that she proudly carries throughout her exhibitions in Paris, New York, Boston, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland... She's the Co-founder of BlackAttitude, a multi-disciplinary art collective created with Art Director Catia Mota Da Cruz which artistic approach is anchored in visual storytelling and blackness beyond the epidermis.
Their first opus was an Avant-garde, edgy, fundamentally punk Printed Magazine which vision is now depicted in Film. That's will be their Second Opus.
Prisca co-directed a TV-documentary " Le Wax et Après ? " about the New Generation of African Fashion Designers that are freeing themselves from the Wax fabric, a Western and Imposed identity. And was recently Appointed Art Director and Photographer for the OFFTO Magazine on The Kinshasa Issue.
Prisca Munkeni Monnier is a Photographer, Film Maker and Visual Artist working between Marseille, Paris and Kinshasa where her Production House (TRIUMVIRA PRODUCTIONS) is also based.
