Born in Detroit, Michigan, Anne Fletcher is one of the film industry’s most sought-after choreographers and directors. Her passion for dancing came at a young age. To pursue her dreams, she moved to Los Angeles after graduating from high school. She has appeared in many films as a dancer, including the The Flintstones, The Mask, and Tank Girl in 1995. She also developed the choreography for the Oscar-nominated drama Boogie Nights staring Mike Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, Julianna Moore, and Heather Graham. She choreographed Disney films like Ice Princess and The Pacifier. Outside of Disney, the choreographer/director also worked on The 40 Year Old Virgin, Along Came Polly, The Longest Yard, and Bring It On. In 2006, she not only choreographed but also directed the hit movie Step Up, which launched Channing Tatum to fame. The movie was such a success that it spawned several sequels. She has directed several non-dancing movies since then, including the fun studio comedies, 27 Dresses, The Proposal, The Guilt Trip and Hot Pursuit.
