Andrea Saparoff
Biography
Music is a language, but what if you’re not a native speaker? Andrea Saparoff is an expert translator who helps non-musician creatives define what they “hear” by asking clever questions. She ferrets out feelings, visual cues and creative ideas, then uncannily transforms them into music. To Andrea, every sound is musical. She even loves using found sounds, like washing machines on spin cycle. LA-based, this composer is always writing—for clients and for her own pure enjoyment. She can tell a story with music, no matter what style. Andrea is passionate about diversity and inclusion. She was honored when Kat Gordon, founder of the 3% Movement, asked her to score the first 3% Sponsor Thank You video. She has continued this labor of love for eight years to advocate for the 3%. Her business is WBENC and WOSB certified. Her commercial and media clients include EA, Cheerios, Nike, Nesquik, Kellogg’s, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota, Infiniti, Lexus, United Way, Clorox, Foster Farms, and more. She has scored films and projects for Hallmark, Lifetime, Discovery, ABC, NBC and CBS. Sonoton/APM commissioned Andrea to create three libraries now used extensively on ESPN, Dateline NBC, OWN, Nat Geo and other global channels.
