Amandla established herself as a Fashion photographer, eventually transforming into fashion filmmaking. She spent a year directing short video content for Pyer Moss before she was hired to direct the "Focus Breathe-In" Global Adidas campaign. Shortly thereafter Amandla was hired to direct two music videos for RCA signed artist, Wesson Desir, Capitol Records signed artist, Masego, and indie hip hop artist, Ivy Sole. In addition, she has created recent spots for Target, Facebook, and Amex. Currently based in Brooklyn, NY — Amandla’s experiences influence her contemplative images, capturing the stillness in a passing moment. Her video work is an homage to empathy, humanity, and curiosity.
