Canadian Cancer Society - Young Adults
Description :
Tina Schomburg had her whole life ahead of her when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 21. Faced with unbearable grief and a lack of support, she intimately recounts her experiences navigating an insensitive medical system and finding healing through community.
Almost every hour in Canada, a young adult is diagnosed with cancer. They have unique needs – practical, physical and psychosocial – that are unmet by today’s cancer system. The Canadian Cancer Society asked us to make this film as part of a campaign centred on young adults. This is a director's cut.
