Yurei
Description :
On the Windward side of Oahu in the late 70s, my great grandfather took his own life by way of seppuku, with a samurai sword which had been passed down through the family for generations. Upon finding his body, my great grandmother buried the sword out in the woods, believing it to be cursed from all the blood it had drawn in the past. A blend of East and West influences, traditional and contemporary visuals, "Yurei" is a choreographed narrative film about a man, a demon, and a cursed sword.
