bio [live] | duendita
Description :
bio (pronunced as bee-yo) - A German word for organic.
(bio pronunciation video:** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbFOUf2u8Sk&t=14s)**
“bio” is an existential dance song…reflecting on a distaste for involuntary experiences as a human...exploring themes of reality, creation and surveillance... “i didn’t ask to be born!”…yet you still have to find/cultivate joy in order to survive…this song is about that journey and experience.
- duendita
When I listened to “bio” again after a long time in the making and the unexplained feelings I got in my body, this idea came to me...this out-of-body experience. It is a door away from my relationship with God, the uncertainties in life, and my relationship with the time of death. more so touching on “temporary death” when you fall asleep. that’s why I decided on a simple one take and operating on a steadicam...God always watches over you and decides when to connect your soul to your body again to wake up the next day — inshAllah. The reds are the warmth I feel in their presence when they always perform together. they always bring everything to life on stage out in those beautiful cold Berlin trips we’d take. It all intertwines well with duendita’s main themes for bio.
